Issue #23 December 2009
THE GINGERBREAD COLLECTIVE

Presented by Arclinea San Diego

On December 10-12, Arclinea San Diego held its inaugural holiday charitable program.  "The 2009 Gingerbread Collective" was a three-day gingerbread competition benefiting Second Chance.

Thirteen designers created gingerbread houses.  Public viewing was available on December 10-11.  Arclinea provided snacks and encouraged visitors to bring canned goods or a cash donation.  On Saturday, a gala cocktail party was held and the houses were auctioned off.

The Gingerbread Collective raised a total of $4,856 plus five grocery carts full of food.  It is not too late to contribute!  Help the total surpass $5,000 by donating today!

Thank you to all of the guests who attended and to all of the donors.  Special thanks to those who designed and donated houses:  ArSimply Italian gingerbread housechitects Magnus, Studio: Anderson Inc, Hollis Brand Culture, BA Smith Design Associates, Boomerang for Modern, JG Color Studios, Little Italy Mercato, Esteban Interiors, LIMI Design Group, Matt Devine, Mi-workshop, Simply Italian (shown at left, winner of "People's Choice" award).

And a very special thanks to the event sponsors: Tu's Printing,
